The All-Share Index slipped by 10bps today to close slightly lower, as modest gains in Nestle (+8.63%), GTCO (+0.65%), NASCON (+3.70%), Wema Bank (+2.68%), Jaiz Bank (+4.00%), Custodian (+2.04%), Nigerian Breweries (+0.34%), and Stanbic (+0.22%) were not enough to offset broad-based weakness across key names.

Losses in AccessCorp (-4.17%), Oando (-4.76%), UBA (-1.74%), WAPCO (-0.94%), FirstHoldco (-1.21%), Fidelity (-1.84%), International Breweries (-3.06%), Champion (-10.00%), Unilever (-2.02%), and FCMB (-2.11%) weighed on the index, dragging overall performance into the red.

Market turnover stood at ₦13.0 billion (US$8.1 million), buoyed by notable foreign interest in Nigerian Breweries and active trading in Fidelity, Zenith, AccessCorp, and Eterna. Year-to-date, the index has returned +6.50%. We expect investor sentiment to remain data-sensitive tomorrow, as the market continues to navigate earnings and macroeconomic signals.
