The All-Share Index continued its winning streak today, up +0.83% to settle at 99,587.25 points. This was mainly attributed to investor’s interest in MTNN (+2.83%), GTCO (+8.86%), FBNH (+8.00%). Zenith (+5.65%), Stanbic (+8.08%), Dangsugar (+9.94%) and UBA (+3.20%). Although Market breadth was positive, losses were recorded in ETI (-7.50%), Transcorp (-3.42%), Nascon (-7.82%) and Access (-0.57%) whilst index heavy weights like Dangcem, Geregu, Airtel, Nestle traded flattish today.
Turnover was decent at N7.10 billion ($5.13 million), with notable activity in Accesscorp. The year-to-date return on the index has now appreciated to +33.18%. We expect market to trade around current levels in the next session.
