The Nigerian equities market wrapped up the week on a flattish note, dipping slightly by 4bps today to settle at 100,022.06 points. Losses were recorded in Jberger (-9.59%),  Sterling (-4.47%), FBNH (-3.76%) , Accesscorp (-3.03%) and Dangsugar (-2.41%).  Also notably, Conoil (+10.00%), Oando (+9.68%), NGX Group (+5.91%), Wapco (+2.86%), Transcorp (+1.58%), UBA (+0.64%) and GTCO (+0.32%) had strong performances but were not enough to push the market into a positive trajectory. Heavyweights such as Buafoods, Buacem, Geregu, and Dangcem still closed flat today.

Turnover stood at N6.0 billion ($3.9 million), primarily driven by trades in Oando, Zenith and GTCO. Year-to-date, the index is up by +33.77%. We anticipate the market to maintain its current levels in the next session.
