Oando, a major gainer in recent sessions, fell sharply by -8.38%, while other significant decliners included Julius Berger (-8.77%), Transcorp (-1.78%), and ETI (-1.37%). On the upside, UBA led the day’s gainers with a +4.35% rise, followed by DangSugar (+4.83%), Access (+2.22%), Conoil (+9.09%), Custodian (+5.19%), and Fidelity (+0.47%). Despite 29 gainers outpacing 25 losers, this wasn’t enough to push the market into positive territory.
Market turnover was stable at N8.8 billion ($5.3 million), with Oando continuing to dominate trading activity. Year-to-date performance stands at +29.34%. Looking ahead, we anticipate the market to follow a similar path.
