The Nigerian equities market ended the trading week today on a good note, up by 0.20% to settle at 99,671.28 points. The day’s positive performance was mainly on account of gains in Seplat (+7.18%) as well as positive investor sentiments in Presco (+4.18%), GTCO (+0.66%) and Fidelity (+1.91%). On the reverse side, FBNH (-1.55%), Guinness (-7.14%), Transcorp (-2.09%), Wapco (-1.63%), UBA (-1.09%), Jberger (-5.76%), Sterling (-3.75%) and Zenithbank (-0.13%) were the key laggards for today.
