Today, the NGX All-Share Index went up by +0.27% to close at 104,562.06 points. This performance was on account of the demand experienced in MTNN (+0.91%), Transcorp (+4.41%), Access (+2.08%), Lafarge (+2.84%) FBNH (+1.28%), Zenith (+1.14%), GTCO (+0.96%), NB (+4.63%) and PZ (+8.57%). On the contrary, Stanbic (-3.45%), Dangsugar (-2.07%), FCMB (-3.95%), Oando (-3.33%), INTBREW (-3.68%), and NGXgroup(-6.75%) were the key laggards of the day.
Market breadth was positive, and turnover improved to N16.95bln ($12.10mln) due to block trades in GTCO, Zenith, UBA, Access and Nestle. Year to date, the index is up by 39.84%. We anticipate the same trading pattern in the upcoming session.
